This day will be run by Nicola Lakeman  PGDip BSc(Hons) RVN CertSAN CertVNECC VTS(Nutrition). This nutrition day will cover gastrointestinal issues and how diet can be used in the diagnosis and management of many problems. We will also cover pancreatitis within this section, along with post operative feeding and micro-enteral nutrition. We will also cover renal disease and urinary issues and the role of nutrition as part of the management plan.

Lastly we will discuss the role of RVNs in supportive feeding methods such as naso and oesphageal feeding tubes. This will also include nutritional feeding calculations.

The cpd day will run via zoom so you can watch in comfort from your own home.
