It’s a lot.... but that’s ok.

This day isn’t about being the best head nurse ... that isn’t realistic. The day is set to broach conversation in practice, keeping it honest and being open minded. It will involve;

- what the title senior nurse means to you- I find the senior nurse term used and wonder, what does that mean? Is there a strict job description?

- self assessment- who do you think you are? What are your strengths and weaknesses as an RVN and as a manager/head nurse?

- having honest conversation- how do we do that? Why should we do that?

- making change- let’s look at “change” a bit differently. Why change? Are people being resistant to change? Why?

- support system- what support systems do our nurses and ourselves have? Is that enough?”

This exciting day will be run via zoom so you can sit back and relax from the comfort of your own sofa with your feet up and a nice cup of tea :-)
