Emergency and critical care can be quite overwhelming, all consuming, fast paced and.... well... a lot. This day we will be taking a step back, taking a deep breath and learning some tips and tricks to keep us calm and in control. We will be looking into:-*Triage and presentation, knowing to ask the correct questions and looking for the answers we need. *Getting the basics, looking into what we can do quick to get the most answers. *Monitoring, what monitoring equipment we can use in these occasions and what we can do to make the most of the equipment we have. *Diagnostics, what is the vet looking at? *Fluid therapy, the ins and outs and whats and whys of fluid therapy and what we can do to monitor. We will take a steady stroll through these subjects and discuss concerns and solutions to common issues along the way.
