About the Event

The inspirational Louise O'Dwyer will take you through Anaesthesia and Analgesia of the Critical Patient.

Patients present for emergency anaesthesia for a wide variety of reasons, including trauma, sepsis and for diagnostic procedures. This full CPD day will look at various aspects of anaesthesia of these patients including creating anaesthesia plans, selection of anaesthetic drugs, dealing with issues under anaesthesia. Delegates will leave with an improved confidence and knowledge of:

• Understanding the concurrent issues trauma patients may related to their major organ systems

• Stabilisation of critical patients prior to anaesthesia

• Dealing with hypotension under anaesthesia

• The post operative complications which may be encountered with critical, including trauma, patients.

You will have a fab day full of inspirational knowledge from Louise, great food , lovely location and some yummy treats too.
