Emma Annis BSc (Hons), RVN, PGCE, VN Cert ECC will take you through all the Medical emergencies which are common place in first opinion practices,  the RVN is well placed to have a positive impact and outcome on these patients. There are a multitude of medical conditions that are considered as emergencies, this course will work through the key ones likely to be experienced by the RVN. The aim of the course is to provide the RVN with a knowledge and understanding of each condition to enable them to approach nursing emergency medical cases more confidently.

Topics to be covered include; cardiovascular emergencies, respiratory emergencies, haematological emergencies, endocrine emergencies, toxicological emergencies, neurological emergencies and ophthalmic emergencies.
